Light, tart, refreshing and low-fat, what’s there not to like? In fact, during my one year stay in North Carolina, fro-yo was one of the popular hang-out places for my friends and I. I loved the HUGE fro-yo stores with rows and rows of different flavours that we could mix and match however we liked. There would also be a toppings bar with everything from granola, nuts to sweets and chocolate. In fact, after I came back to Singapore, I often lamented that there was nothing quite like that experience here, since most fro-yo stores serve the yogurt in fixed cup sizes and charge per topping.
